Interested in taking a class with ALIGN? Below is a description of each. Choose the class that’s best for you.

Ever wonder why our bodies don’t come with a user’s manual? Yeah, me too! The ALIGN Series is the user’s manual you’ve been looking for!

As a trained educator and licensed physical therapist assistant, I believe knowledge is power. ALIGN Series classes are an exploration of particular body parts and joints and the ways they impact our posture, mobility and stability. With this knowledge, students are empowered to move with stability and efficiency within their own body’s limitations, to reduce pain and injury.

These classes are based around a LYT Yoga flow highlighting the body part or joint of the series, with more education and time for dialogue sprinkled throughout.

Mobility required: able to get up and down from the ground

Bring your mat and blocks if you have them.

Pelvis Series: March 9, 16, 23, 30 @1:30pm (75 min)

Shoulder Series: Coming this summer!

Core Series: Coming this fall!

Hip Series: Coming this winter!

ALIGN Series

A vinyasa-style class that uses the LYT Method to reset the body and build strength and stability. This class is perfect for you if you:

  • are new to yoga

  • are wanting to come back to yoga after a period of time away from the mat

  • have been injured in previous yoga classes

  • are new to the LYT Method

Mobility required: able to get up and down from the ground

Bring your mat and blocks if you have them.

Sundays @11:30am (75 min)

SET (w/weights)

Do you have light weights lying around that you never use? Let’s put them to work on the mat to build core strength! This class uses the LYT Method and repetition to improve core strength and movement mechanics. This class is perfect for you if you:

  • want to build core strength

  • want to improve body mechanics

  • are a gardener

  • are getting bored with your current yoga practice - let’s spice it up!

Mobility required: able to get up and down from the ground

Bring your mat, blocks and a set of light weight dumbbells (1-4#) if you have them. If not, the sequences can also be preformed without weight.

Sundays @1:30pm (75 min)

Restorative

Looking for a way to “treat yourself?!” Try restorative yoga, with longer holds in positions that will help your body relax and turn on the parasympathetic nervous system. Allow your attention to turn inwards and breathe…

This class is perfect for you if you:

  • want to relax after a particularly long day or week

  • want a moment of calm before the week ahead

  • are trapped in the sympathetic nervous system (fight, flight, freeze)

Mobility required: able to get up and down from the ground

Bring your mat, blocks if you have them, and any other comfy things (pillow, blanket, bolster).

Private Session

Book a private session with Tara! This is perfect for you if you:

  • want to prevent injury

  • are recovering from injury or surgery

  • are prenatal/postnatal

  • want to focus on a specific sport

  • desire focused work on particular poses/movements
